Where + How did we meet ?

I (Braam) met Anne-Marie in 1993 in my High School (Goudrif). We had just moved to Boksburg (Gauteng,South Africa) after my father moved into full time ministry. He was the Pastor at the Full Gospel Church in Witfield.

When we first met in school I liked her very much, but considered Anne-Marie to be "out of my league". As a result nothing ever developed between us @ school.

I finished school and started my studies into Information Technology, when in my second year our paths crossed again. This time I felt it was destiny and decided to get to know her better. Fortunately for me, she had the same idea and we got on really well.

We officially started dating on 25 March 1997.

So what then ?

Naturally we started spending more and more time together and I soon realised that this is very likely the woman I would marry one day. And so it was...

We got engaged on 12 December 1999 and married exactly 3 years after we started dating, 25 March 2000.

We got married at Botshabelo (Middelburg) , an old missionary established in the middle to late 1800's. The church we married in was built by the Ndebeles and the Dutch Missionarys around 1870. We together with our guests spent the weekend at Botshabelo and had a great time... (it was like a weekend long wedding).

So what now ?

I am currently employed by NETCARE as a Systems Consultant in the Management Information Services (MIS) business unit. I design,architect and build software solutions.

Anne-Marie works at home, raising our lovely little girl, Izett , and also has some new business ventures on the cards..

Our life mostly consists out of working,eating and sleeping (sleeping...especially for Anne-Marie)

Sad hey !!!!! , aghhh but that's life, and we do ENJOY LIFE !!!
