I dig it !!!

So what is it that blows my hair back ?? - DRUMS

I've been “drumming” for roughly 11 years now, and I absolutely love it. The only problem with these things (hobbies, that is) , is that you really have to spend a lot of time on it to really “know your stuff”. TIME , however is a luxury and very difficult to afford.

However, whenever I have chance to play together with other musicians (buddies/budettes), I do so.

I have a few photos of our “outings” on the photos page. Have a “squizz” !!

My kit is a Premier Genista (6 piece) and I mostly use Zildjian cymbals. It is a rather expensive hobby to get going, but after the intial investment it's CRAZY FUN .

Premier is an English brand (Made in England) , but boy , it's pumping. No other drum like it. Ye ye, I know it sounds biased and it probably is BUT BOY it's pumping !!!!

Unfortunately the Genista range has been discontinued BUT BOY its' pumping.... ok enough of that

See for yourself ...

The Premier Percussion Breakdown
Premier

Genista, made from 100% Finnish Birch, is a classic series of drums, benefiting from the tremendous advances made at Premier in materials and manufacturing.

The unsupported, 6 mm undersize shells are manufactured to exacting tolerances of concentricity and uniformity throughout. The toms and snare drums are 5.5 mm / 7 ply thick, whilst the bass drums are 7 mm /7 ply thick, giving Genista the distinctive full-bodied Birch attack, with fast decay, making it clear and precise with real cut.

The individual styling of the Genista lug adds to its truly classic look.
